Give through Planned Giving, such as your Will

How You Can Help | Planned Giving

Simply by including the Nepal Youth Foundation in my Will, I have provided for thousands of destitute children with the stroke of a pen. Furthermore, my estate will receive substantial tax benefits from this gift.Olga Murray with two girls from K House

Donors from their 30's to their 80's have made planned gifts to the Nepal Youth Foundation. Please consider joining us in NYF's Legacy Circle by including NYF in your Will or estate plan. I invite all members of our Legacy Circle to join me at my house for lunch every year.

Planned Giving can easily be tailored to meet your specific requirements.
• It can be as easy as remembering NYF in your Will.
• You can establish a charitable trust that benefits you, your heirs, and NYF.
• You can also designate NYF as the beneficiary of your retirement fund or insurance policy.

If you don't have a Will or estate plan, we suggest you contact a tax advisor. An estate plan will allow your family to avoid the delay, dissension and needless expense that often occurs when a loved one dies without a Will.

Besides supporting some of the world's most impoverished children, your gift may:
• Cost little or nothing now;
• Reduce estate tax;
• Bypass capital gains tax and/or income tax;
• Provide income to you;
• Benefit your family.

Donations of highly appreciated stock, real estate, and retirement funds can provide particularly valuable tax advantages to you and your heirs.Happy girls at K House, thanks to donors like you!

Planned gifts are extremely helpful for NYF because when we help children who have no other means of support, we need to be there for them until they can stand on their own feet—just as any good parent would. We cannot tell our kids that they have to return to the street or quit school because it has been a bad year on the stock market and donations are down.

NYF needs a source of enduring support that is not subject to fluctuations in fundraising or the economy. Planned gifts provide this kind of secure, long-term funding.

Please consider including the Nepal Youth Foundation in your Will or estate plan. Planned giving ensures that we will continue to provide education, health care, and loving support to extremely disadvantaged children for many years to come. Additionally, members of NYF's Legacy Circle are invited to an annual lunch at Olga's house in Sausalito, California.

"I am only 38, but I was happy to learn that designating NYF as the beneficiary of my 401(k) and IRA was a tax-effective way of making a major gift. I love knowing that I will continue to benefit children long after I'm gone.
