The government of Nepal has allocated money to support NYF's efforts to rescue girls in Nepal from slavery. This funding will support education and vocational training for the girls, while NYF is still responsible for liberating them.

A Kiwanis Club member's story of raising money for NYF
David Elswick shares his personal account of raising funds for needy children in Nepal, on the Kiwanis website. Not only did David inspire his organization to donate to NYF, the club also got young people involved by matching donations from a local Key Club.

Because of our exceptional fiscal management, NYF just received its third four-star rating – the highest possible – from Charity Navigator, America's largest evaluator of charities. Only 12% of the charities evaluated receive three consecutive four-star ratings. This indicates our extremely efficient and effective implementation of the funds that you, our donors, contribute.

Olga Murray describes NYF's pioneering vocational training programs. Girls we liberate from virtual slavery who have never attended school have the opportunity to learn skills such as growing henna. Other students can learn to be cooks, lab technicians, and more. Vocational training is particularly beneficial due to Nepal's extremely high unemployment rate.

Watch a video about a student whose life was transformed by NYF
A scholarship from the Nepal Youth Foundation enabled Ramchandra to overcome an extremely disadvantaged childhood. He did not even attend school until age nine, when NYF began to support him. When he completes his education, he wants to promote education for the disabled in Nepal. Watch a video about Ram's hardships and his truly inspirational outlook on life.
