Skills Training for Reconstruction
In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Nepal, the country is now embarking on a massive reconstruction phase. Nepal Youth Foundation is collaborating with the Government agencies in the rebuilding projects in the worst hit districts. Major part of this campaign includes developing skilled human resource for reconstruction. NYF plans to greatly expand our already existing vocational training program and train young people as well as home owners from the villages as masons, electricians, welders, and plumbers for constructing seismically safe family homes and schools.
